We are a pet friendly facility - $25 per pet for a 2 night stay.
Activities on the Farm:
20% discount for Adventure Park tickets for guests staying at the retreat. Code will be issued in cabin booking confirmation email.
Farm Tour: Come and meet the animals, collect eggs from the hens, visit the natural veggie garden and sample the fruits of our labor - striving to become as "self -sufficient" as possible.
Enjoy an evening stroll down to the creek and camp fire pit to roast smores and watch the fire flies...

Canoe and kayak rentals: Float the Appomattox River in Farmville or fish 740 acres on the Sandy River Fishing Reservoir, just minutes from the farm.
Twin Lakes State Park offers a beach and swimming area, a large playground, environmental education activities for kids, fishing, paddle boat rentals, camping, and a concession building with food and sweet treats.
High Bridge Trail State Park is a 33 mile linear state park. Originally this land was the old train line, but was converted to "Rails to Trails". The closest parking is about 1.5 miles from the actual bridge, which offers spectacular views of the surrounding landscape, and Appomattox River. Bike rental are available in Farmville, where you can park and bike the 4+ miles out to the bridge.
The town of Farmville offers unique stores, cafes, furniture shopping at the renowned Green Front Furniture and Accessories, Art Gallery, Museum of Civil Rights, antique stores, clothing and bridal stores, restaurants and a charming local farmers market.
Sailors Creek Battlefield State Park and Appomattox Court house are 15+ minutes away, for the Civil War History enthusiasts.
